Main Labour Pty Ltd – Worker Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all workers engaged by Main Labour Pty Ltd 75 664 619 710 whether employed, subcontracted, or otherwise engaged for work on any site or project managed by Main Labour. By accepting an engagement, the worker agrees to abide by the following conditions.

1. Code of Conduct

  • All workers must conduct themselves professionally, courteously, and in accordance with site rules and WHS regulations.
  • Any form of intoxication, insubordination, harassment, or disruptive behaviour may result in immediate termination.

2. Duty of Care

  • Workers must take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others.
  • All work must be performed in a safe and compliant manner in line with site-specific instructions, SWMS, and applicable laws.

3. Damage to Property or Equipment

  • If a worker causes damage to property, tools, vehicles, or infrastructure due to negligence or misconduct, they may be held financially liable.
  • Main Labour reserves the right to recover repair or replacement costs through wage deductions or invoicing.

4. Personal Tools and Equipment

  • Main Labour is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal tools or belongings brought to site.

5. Insurance and Liability

  • Workers must hold the required qualifications and insurances (e.g. public liability, workers compensation) where applicable.
  • Uninsured workers who cause incidents may be liable for any resulting claims, costs, or damages.

6. Site Inductions and Compliance

  • Completion of all site inductions is mandatory before commencing work.
  • Workers must provide valid ID, licences, and tickets, and wear the required PPE.
  • Daily sign-in/out is required on all sites.

7. Confidentiality and Intellectual Property

  • All plans, documents, and instructions remain the property of Main Labour or the client and must not be shared or reused without permission.

8. Termination

  • Engagement can be terminated at any time due to misconduct, safety violations, or poor performance.
  • Workers may be excluded from future projects if breaches occur.

9. Dispute Resolution

  • Disputes will be resolved internally in good faith. If unresolved, mediation will be pursued before legal action.

10. Acceptance

By accepting an assignment or submitting timesheets to Main Labour, the worker agrees to these Terms and Conditions in full.
